The fourth edition of the "CLASS Hysteroscopy: where hysteroscopy meets ultrasound" course was held on 3 and 4 April 2023.
The course aims to provide the knowledge and practical skills necessary for the treatment under ultrasound guidance of simple and complex pathologies. The program consists of theoretical lessons, live clinical cases from the CLASS HYSTEROSCOPY Center and practical sessions according to the ESGE GESEA Program, using transvaginal simulators, ultrasound machines, hysteroscopic trainers (Dry and Wet LAB, GESEA HYSTT 1 and 2 exercises).
This edition was attended by colleagues from different parts of Europe (Italy, Romania, Germany).
The next edition of the course will take place on 13-14 November 2023.

Dr. Ursula Catena participated as surgeon in the LIVE SURGICAL MARATHON, during the ENDOMETRIOSIS CONSENSUS event, organized by Prof. Arnaud Wattiez, which was held in Strasbourg from 15 to 17 September 2022.
A project supported by MIS Academy and IRCAD.
Surgeries, broadcast live in Strasbourg, were performed at Class Hysteroscopy center of Fondazione Policlinico Gemelli in Rome.
During the session, moderated by Prof. Rudi Campo, Dr. Catena performed two innovative live surgical procedures for treatment of infertility associated with uterine adenomyosis.

As modern Hysterosocopy is becoming a routine procedure in daily Gynaecological and infertility practice, we are delighted to announce the new "Master of Hysteroscopic Surgery in Gynaecology". It offers a new world to deal with abnormal uterine bleeding disorders and examine the uterine organ for its reproductive capacity.
It consists of 8 seasons which will help you prepare for the Hysteroscopy Level 1 and Level 2 of the GESEA program. The certification is mandatory to enter a hands-on session or apply for a clinical attachment.
Dr Catena will be the Director of Season 4 “Endometrium: from benign to malignant - hysteroscopic approach”
The certification delivered by MIS Academy follows the standards of the European Society for Gynaecological Endoscopy (ESGE) and parallel (optional) certification by the Gynaecological Endoscopic Surgical Education and Assessment (GESEA).
The 7th Edition of Endo Dubai took place from 24 to 26 February 2022 with over 100 international experts in minimally invasive surgery.

An Exclusive 3-Day Course at the Policlinico A. Gemelli Foundation, Rome organized by ENYGO, the “young” society of European Society of Gynecologic Oncology (ESGO).

In the last years, integration between Hysteroscopic Surgery and Ultrasounds has become fundamental. Gynaecologists performing endoscopic surgery should be able to perform gynecological ultrasound to diagnose benign and malignant diseases and also to guide some careful procedures.
The course aims to provide the necessary knowledge and practical skills to treat simple and complex pathologies under ultrasonographic guidance. The programme consists of theoretical lessons, clinical cases from CLASS Hysteroscopy Center and hands-on-training sessions according to the ESGE GESEA Program, using transvaginal simulators, ultrasound machines, hysteroscopic trainers (wet and dry lab, GESEA HYSTT 1 and 2 exercises).
The course will take place from 19 to 20 September 2022.
The European Academy of Gynecological Surgery in collaboration with the European Society of Gynecological Endoscopy (ESGE) has developed a diploma program open to those with a surgical background.
The "GESEA Certification Session 2022" course will take place on January 20, 2022 at the Gemelli Hospital with Dr. Ursula Catena as Scientific Director.
